What It Is

The CiRCE Institute publishes this stellar writing program for students in seventh through twelfth grades and focuses on the persuasive essay. Students learn the classical skills of Invention, Arrangement, and Elocution as they develop the skills to craft effective arguments.  Most of all, this program trains students how to think about their writing. My Experience

During my tenure with Classical Conversations, I tutored my children and other students in various levels of the Challenge program and equipped parent teachers using The Lost Tools of Writing. As a graduate of CiRCE’s Apprenticeship program, I am equipped at a much deeper level to share the skills and strategies of this program. I am eager to learn and work with families striving to think and write classically.
